Coqui Coqui is a small, 5-room bohemian chic boutique hotel on the beach in Tulum, Mexico. Former hippie outpost Tulum has become one of the most stylish and high-end beach destinations in Mexico. The coconut trees and the white sand beach of Tulum was the inspiration for the entire Coqui Coqui experience. Surrounded by the jungle and the Caribbean sea, Coqui Coqui Tulum was the first residence to be created in the year 2003 and reflects the contemporary but rustic style at the essence of Coqui Coqui.
I have been to Tulum myself and it is truly beautiful. There is nothing much than jungle, coconut trees, a stunning white beach and the turquoise sea.
With a design strongly influenced by the local architecture as well as by the nearby ruins of Tulum, their beachfront limestone structure stay has a stunningly double exposed spa, breezy bedrooms and offers to their guests a true and unforgettable Caribbean experience.
The spa hotel is owned by model Nicolas Malleville and his girlfriend Francesca. They did a great job decorating the rooms in a rustic chic style with local artisan-crafted furniture and objects.
After the success of Coqui Coqui Tulum the couple now have opened two other equally stunning hotels, as well as a cafe, a shop and a perfumery.
