International style icon Erin Wasson is set to launch her Low Luv Spring Summer 2012 Collection which will hit Australia in July. The new collection is inspired by a modern day strong Native American Indian woman and plays with texture to define
certain shapes whether it is creating a caged or a raised dimension effect.
Gold and silver plated metals and a unique display of Heishi beads, faceted balls and blackened lava stones put a modern spin on her tribal inspiration and influences for the collection. Wasson’s use of Heishi beads is drawn from her love of ancient history.
Experts regard Heishi beads as the oldest form of jewellery in New Mexico and North America, as they pre-date to the period before theintroduction of metals.
Erin Wasson is not only a talented and renowned jewellery designer she has also had success as an international model. Versatile and hardworking, she has walked international runways for every major fashion house and featured on covers internationally.
